The British government has called on India and Pakistan to “remain clam” after tensions escalated in the wake of Indian government’s decision to revoke Article 370 of the Indian constitution regarding occupied Kashmir – in complete violation of the United Nations resolution. Speaking to Geo News, a spokesman of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) said that Britain was assessing the situation. “We are following developments closely and support calls for the situation to remain clam”.
