JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said we have reached close to consensus on constitutional amendment,
“Harmony has developed with government on the matter of constitutional amendment. we have rejected government draft on constitutional amendment. I appeal to PTI to postpone protest till Shanghai Cooperation Organization conference, he said this while talking to media men in Tundo Allah Yar here Monday.
What things we have rejected in constitutional amendments have been returned. We had rejected the draft of constitutional amendment what government had brought. The judiciary would have been weakened and human rights ruined due to this draft. However much harmony has developed on the draft.
We are not in the assembly to pass the bills against the interest of people.
I will meet Bilawal Bhutto , Nawaz Sharif and PTI leadership. We had spent 9 months in 18th amendment. What is problem today that amendment has been imposed on us hastily.
We have reached close to consensus.
He appealed to PTI to postpone protest till the SCO conference. The results of earlier demonstrations had not come good, he added.
