A woman with her accomplice allegedly killed her husband, a local cosmetics trader, on July 21st near Haji Camp area of the provincial capital.
Peshawar police have solved the blind murder case of a local cosmetics trader, Fazal Hadi, who was killed on July 21 near the Torkham Adda Gate in the Haji Camp area, said a statement issued by police officials.
The operation, conducted under the directives of senior officers and the supervision of SP Faqirabad Division Muhammad Arshad Khan, DSP Omar Afridi, and SHO Pahari Pura Police Station Ahmadullah, led to the arrest of key suspects, including the victim’s own wife.
According to details, the victim’s son, Ahmed Hadi, had lodged a report at Pahari Pura Police Station stating that his father, Fazal Hadi, a resident of Madina Colony, Swat, had been murdered by unknown assailants. Following this, a case was registered and a special investigation team was constituted on the orders of CCPO Peshawar Qasim Ali Khan and SSP Operations Masood Ahmed.
The investigation team pursued multiple angles, using modern forensic and technical tools. During the course of the inquiry, the police discovered that the victim’s wife was allegedly involved in a relationship with one of the accused, Zeeshan, son of Ismail Shah.
The two allegedly conspired to eliminate Fazal Hadi and hired a contract killer to carry out the murder.
The suspects were apprehended following the technical investigation, and during preliminary questioning, they confessed to their involvement in the crime. Police officials confirmed that the murder was part of a premeditated plan to remove the victim from their path.
