Women’s Volleyball contest starts at SA University

Women Volley Ball contest started at Shaikh Ayaz University to encourage healthy activities which would be continued till 4th March, such contests have been started by the Higher Educations Commission [HEC]. At least 12 teams are participating in the tournament from them 9 teams belong to Punjab and 3 teams belong to Sindh province.
The tournament was inaugurated by Dr. Sambreen Hussain, the Vice-chancellor of Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur, while Vice-Chancellor of Khairpur University and other heads belonging to different departments participated.
Dr. Sambreen Hussain, the Vice-chancellor of Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur, while addressing the gathering said that she is very happy to see such a healthy activity and program at Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur and such sort of activities encourage the women and female students and females have also been proving themselves in every field of life by using their capabilities and acclaimed the efforts of Dr. Raza Bhatti, the VC Shikah Ayaz University.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Raza Bhatti, said that 47 females students are getting an education in SAU, and such ratio would be increased and thanked all participating persons.
The teams of Agriculture Women University Faisalabad, Sir Sayed University, Khuwaja Fareed Uddin University & Government College University Faisalabad won the game.
Prior, a cake to celebrate the birthday anniversary of Shaikh Ayaz was also cut down by chief guests and honorary guests.
A large number of male and female students and guests participated in the event and termed it a great move to encourage healthy activities.
