ISLAMABAD (DNA): Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, while paying rich tributes to the martyrdom of three Kashmiri youth of Bijbehara who were martyred by the Indian army in Pahalgam on January 16, condemned killing of the Kashmiris and torching of houses.
\nIn a statement, Rehmani urged the international community to take notice of the tragic events in the Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK) that have potential of destabilizing the region to the harm of a sea of humanity.
\nIt has already been confirmed that three Kashmiri mujahedeen from Bijbehara were buried in their native graveyards yesterday by a sea of mourners, who followed the coffins amid snowfall and chill to the end.
\nMuhammad Farooq Rehmani at the same time slammed India for mistreating Kashmir- detainees in jails, flouting releasing orders of courts especially those who have been spending their life term in Tihar jail since early 1990s.
\nHe described the daily life of some sick detunes as very horrible because of lack of treatment facilities and, non-supply of medicines to them; the authorities were religiously biased towards the Kashmiri Muslim prisoners.
\nThe central Modi Government, the Delhi government of jails, and the Mufti regime of JK, were equally revengeful towards the detunes. He said Indian regime was prejudicially bent upon terror, torture on Kashmiris, thus compelling them to resort to violence to protect the life and honour of women and children.
\nBut, he said, India only discovered gun in Kashmir but couldn’t see pellet wounded eyes and bodies of the Kashmiris boys and girls. India, he cautioned had designed to repeal the articles of his own constitution-Article 370, and Article 35A to destroy the demographic complexion of Jammu & Kashmir and had drawn out a plan to crush the ongoing freedom movement by her military might \u2013encouraged by Hindutva ideology of only Hindus in India.
\nHe emphasized on Pakistan to make a joint effort on JK with EU, OIC Kashmir Group, and other relevant bodies to raise the question of military operations, detentions, forced disappearances, line of control (LoC) terrorism by India before the UNSC and stress upon referendum under the UN auspices in Jammu and Kashmir.
\nHe warned time was running and the Modi regime was bent upon eliminating the present generation of boys and girls of the Muslim majority state on the foot prints of medieval despots or inquisitions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
