ISLAMABAD(PR):The 64th meeting of syndicate of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was held under the chair of Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor. It was 6th meeting of the syndicate held during the last two years. The members lauded the efforts of the Vice Chancellor for brining extraordinary improvement in all departments of the university. The members reviewed important administrative, academic and fiscal matters and approved various steps taken by the university administration. Allocation of 15 percent quota for women in public service employment as well as adoption of the government of the Punjab policy for grant of payment to the legal hires of deceased employees was approved.
\nRecommendations of recently held selection board, selection committee and academic council were also approved. Matters related to appointment of teaching heads and extensions in service of contract employees were also considered.
