{"id":11391,"date":"2017-02-03T16:36:27","date_gmt":"2017-02-03T06:36:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=11391"},"modified":"2017-02-03T16:36:27","modified_gmt":"2017-02-03T06:36:27","slug":"no-compromise-on-electricity-theft-ceo-iesco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/no-compromise-on-electricity-theft-ceo-iesco\/","title":{"rendered":"No compromise on electricity theft: CEO IESCO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IESCO nabbed 429 power culprits in january-2017<\/p>\n<p>Business Reporter<\/p>\n<p>Islamabad: Upon the special directives of Chief Executive Officer of IESCO Dr. Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has apprehended 429 electricity thieves in different areas of IESCO Region during the month of December.<br \/>\nAccording to the details provided by the concerned offices,50 culprits were caught red handed from Islamabad Circle, 124 from Rawalpindi Circle, 82 from Attock Circle, 61 from Jhelum Circle and 112 from Chakwal Circle.<br \/>\nThese culprits were found involved in power theft through direct line (Kunda System) and Meter Tempering.<br \/>\nIESCO has lodged applications against power thieves under the new electricity (Amendment) Act. IESCO is committed against power theft across IESCO region.<br \/>\nCustomers are requested to inform about power theft on IESCO\u2019s new Roshni 8398 sms service or by calling on IESCO\u2019s help line No 118. The new \u201cROSHNI SMS Service 8398\u2019\u2019 and IESCO help line 118 is serving commendably in entire IESCO region including Islamabad circle, Rawalpindi circle, Jhelum circle, chakwal circle and Attock circle.<br \/>\nThese services are getting massive response from its users.
