{"id":11776,"date":"2017-02-09T16:36:29","date_gmt":"2017-02-09T06:36:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=11776"},"modified":"2017-02-09T16:36:29","modified_gmt":"2017-02-09T06:36:29","slug":"pm-pledges-to-ends-power-cuts-till-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/pm-pledges-to-ends-power-cuts-till-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"PM pledges to ends power cuts till 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sheikhupura<br \/>\nOnline<br \/>\nPrime Minister Nawaz Sharif has commended the pace of work of the under-completion of 1180-MW LNG-fueled power plant in Bhikki.<br \/>\nAddressing a function in Bhikki on Wednesday, he appreciated the savings achieved in completion of the project.<br \/>\nHe also lauded the efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the Chinese team of engineers and other concerned people working on the project.<br \/>\nNawaz Sharif said that eighty four percent work the Power Plant has been completed which will help overcome energy shortage in the country.<br \/>\nThe Prime Minister said several new power projects are in final stages, which after completion will solve the energy shortage issue in the country.<br \/>\nHe said that no other government in the past bothered to work on motorways. However, the present government is now working on Lahore Karachi Motorway speedily.<br \/>\nEarlier, Prime Minister visited different parts of the power plant and personally observed the progress on project.<br \/>\nIn his address, the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Shrif said that work is being completed speedily at Bhikhi, Haveli Bahadur Shah and Balloki power plant.<br \/>\nHe said that the Federal Government extended its full cooperation for timely completion of these power projects.
