\nForeign office spokesman has said that India has been involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan. He said Pakistan has taken issue to the UN Secretary General about involvement of India in terrorist activities in Pakistan. He said Pakistan is biggest victim of terrorism
\nSpeaking at the weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said investigation is underway in Lahore bombing and some arrests have been made.
\nHe said planning for the Lahore attack was made in Afghanistan.
\nReplying to another question, the Spokesman said continuing instability in Afghanistan has created space for the non-state actors and terrorist organizations to find their foothold in that country. He said Jamatul Ahrar which is based in Afghanistan claims carrying out terrorist\u2019s incidents in Pakistan. He said we have raised the issue terrorist activities on Pakistan soil from across the border. He said we have also urged the Afghan leadership to take necessary steps to address our concern.
\nWhile condemning the blasts in Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar, he said some suspects have been arrested over the Lahore blast while interrogation on terrorism in Lahore is under way.
\nAbout Pakistan China cooperation in the context of CPEC and threats emanating from India side, he said it is a regional economic development project and will benefits the entire region.
\nHe pointed out that India is openly opposing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
\n\u201cWe are aware of Indian government\u2019s plans to sabotage CPEC,\u201d he said. \u201cIndia\u2019s interference in Pakistan is not concealed.\u201d
\nHe added India\u2019s nuclear weapons are a threat to peace in South Asia. Moreover, he maintained, massive purchase of weapons by India could lead to instability in the region.\u201d
\nEven Kulbhushan Yadav had admitted of making an attempt to affect the work on CPEC, Zakaria said. Yadav is an Indian who was arrested in Balochistan last year.
\nHe condemned Indian firing on the Line of Control, saying three Pakistani soldiers were martyred. He paid tribute to the law-enforcement agencies for fighting terrorism. However, the violation of human rights continues in Indian occupied Kashmir, he added, saying the international community should take notice of Indian aggression there.
\nAnswering a question, Nafees Zakaria said Indian defence build up is not in the interest of the region. It is a matter of grave concern and endangering the peace in the region and disturbing the strategic balance.
\nHe said Indian atrocities against Kashmiris are continuing unabated. Pakistan has urged the international community to take notice of grave human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir.
\nHe said India is desperately wants to divert attention of world community from atrocities being committed in Occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
