\nThe Chandia community people of village Sattar Chandio and the human rights activists continued their token hunger strike on Tuesday \u2013 the second day at a camp outside local press club for seeking justice in Naseer Chandio murder case, who was allegedly shot dead by the Naukot and Sukhan, Malir Karachi police teams two weeks back at the deceased\u2019s home.
\nLocal Shia leader Gul Muhammad Khoso, Muhib Bheel of Awami Tehreek, Arif Qaimkhani of PPP, Anwar Kunbhar, Yaqoob Chandio, Mewo Chandio, Latif Chandio, Rinjal Das Kolhi of Sindh Kolhi Ittehad and others joined the agitating villagers to show solidarity with them.
\nThe hunger-strikers told newsmen that the police shot Naseer chandio at his home although he had not committed any crime. \u201cWe have been seeking justice and holding demonstration but no avail, and even the FIR has not been registered against the police personnel involved in murder,\u201d they said.
\nThe protesting villagers and their supporters said that so far they have staged demonstration and observed token hunger strike, which will continue for indefinite period, but in case the justice is not dispensed, they will be compelled to start long march to Karachi press club and then stage demonstration outside Chief Minister\u2019s House.
\nThe protesters lamented that despite such a gruesome incident and their demonstrations, no elected representative has turned up to even inquire the matter.
\nMeanwhile, it was announced that Jeay Sindh Mahaz Chairman Riaz Chandio, and PTI leader from Tando Allahyar Ali Palh and local leader Kirshan Sharma will join the protest on Wednesday and also will visit the Sattar Chandio village to offer condolence to the heirs of deceased Naseer Chandio.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
