\nFour terrorists were killed and an equal number of troops embraced martyrdom when security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan on Sunday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
\nThe military media wing said in a statement that four terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Vezhda Sar area of North Waziristan when the security forces were clearing an area. During the exchange of fire with the terrorists, four security personnel were martyred, said the ISPR.
\nThe martyred soldiers are identified as Muhammad Ismail Khan, Muhammad Shahbaz Yasin, Muhammad Rizwan Khan and Raja Waheed Ahmed.
\nEarlier on June 21, Pakistan Army Captain and a soldier had embraced martyrdom and two others were injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire at the convoy of security forces in North Waziristan.
