Bilawal alleges govt for giving maximum number of NROs

\nOpposition Leader in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that the opposition is not asking for any relief from the incumbent government.
\nSpeaking after having a meeting with the Pakistan People\u2019s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari here at his Model Town residence, Shehbaz Sharif said that they have submitted their suggestions to the government for amendments to NAB law.
\n\u201cWe have suffered from a nexus of government and NAB during the past two years,\u201d he said, adding that it has been exposed as to how NAB was used to silence the opposition parties.
\nThe opposition leader said that the amendments were suggested in the accountability law in light of the apex court\u2019s recent remarks against the accountability watchdog. \u201cBesides the court, top legal experts have also called for a complete revisit of the NAB laws,\u201d he said.
\nShehbaz Sharif further lamented NAB\u2019s silence over wrongdoings in the federal and KP governments\u2019 projects.
\nSpeaking on the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto blamed the incumbent government for giving more NROs than any other previous government.
\nAfter giving NRO in the sugar and BRT scandals, they are now bent upon facilitating Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, the PPP chairman said.
\nHe announced to give good news to the nation after a Rehbar Committee meeting scheduled after Eid-ul-Azha and urged upon all opposition parties to unite on a single platform against the incumbent government.
\nEarlier, speaking to the media before the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that besides this meeting with Shehbaz Sharif, they would continue to meet in the future too.
\nResponding to the party stalwart Rehman Malik\u2019s meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa a day before, he said that he would have met him in the capacity of chairman of the Senate\u2019s Standing Committee on Interior Affairs.
\nMeanwhile, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz held a preparatory meeting before a meeting between Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
