{"id":150463,"date":"2020-10-15T06:11:51","date_gmt":"2020-10-15T01:11:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=150463"},"modified":"2020-10-15T06:11:51","modified_gmt":"2020-10-15T01:11:51","slug":"irregular-flow-of-power-causes-fire-in-brt-buses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/irregular-flow-of-power-causes-fire-in-brt-buses\/","title":{"rendered":"Irregular flow of power causes fire in BRT buses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Inspection of BRT buses completed<br \/>\nDLP Report<br \/>\nPESHAWAR<br \/>\nThe Trans Peshawar has said that Chinese experts identified short circuits as the main reason for the fire incidents in Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) busses and they have proposed a sustainable and long lasting solution to the issues.<br \/>\nSpokesperson Trans Peshawar said that manufacturer experts are updating and replacing controllers, followed by improving high voltage wiring and the temperature controlling system of the buses.<br \/>\nOn the recommendations of the bus manufacturer company and in the best interest of the public, BRT service was temporarily suspended in Peshawar.<br \/>\nThe objective of temporary suspension was to thoroughly inspect all BRT buses to identify and rectify issues hampering the service on priority.<br \/>\nThe findings made by the Manufacturer Company are the unusual flow of ripple current which affected the performance of the capacitor and caused a short circuit he added.<br \/>\nAccording to the Trans Peshawar the short circuit eventually was the reason for the fire. The bus manufacturer experts proposed a sustainable and long-lasting solution to these issues which will be sufficient for the next 12 years.<br \/>\nFurther Spokesperson Trans Peshawar stated that all BRT buses and their equipment are in warranty.
