LAHORE Nov 17 (ONLINE): Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and
\nIndustry ( FPCCI) and United Business Group ( UBG) Tuesday greeted Prime
\nMinister Imran Khan for doubtless victory in Gilgit Baltistan election winch
\nwill promise political stability in the country besides poised to strengthen
\nnational economy.<\/p>\n

In a joint statement, Chairman UBG and President SAARC chamber veteran
\ntrade leader Iftikhar Ali Malik and FPCCI SVP Hanif Gohar and VP Ch Zahid
\nIqbal Arian said political stability is pre requisite for sustainable economy.
\nIftikhar Ali Malik hoped PTI government under the dynamic leadership of PM
\nImran Khan will fully focus on development of GB and exploiting its fruit
\nexport potential besides promoting tourism in the region.He said entire
\nbusiness community pinned high hopes that PTI government will live upto the
\naspirations of its voters and supporters and implement its manifesto in true
\nletter and spirit aimed at the greater weal of people of this region.
\nHe said economy of Gilgit-Baltistan is largely dependent on dried fruits and
\nagriculture as the area is famous for its almonds, apricots, cherries all over
\nthe world. … It produces about 120,650 tons of almonds yearly and their
\nexport can yield billions of rupees to farmers which he added will ultimately
