ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to eliminate all illegal possession of state land in Model Town Mehk.
\nThe case came up for hearing before IHC bench led by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani Wednesday.
\nThe court has remarked \u201c use the technology. Do it whatever you have to do and protect state land. No injustice should be done to any one. The encroachments will have to be eradicated at every cost. Who is illegally occupying land since the last fifty years is occupant. The officer who fails to get vacate possession of state land will go to jail. <\/p>\n
The court also issued directives to CDA that possession be given to owners of plots as per law. The land be got vacated from the affectees who have been allotted plots in Islamabad . <\/p>\n
The court remarked the plots were given to affectees and they sold them out then why they are still occupying these plots. The affectees don\u2019t hand over possession after obtaining money or CDA does not make payment; This is cruelty on both sides. Half money will have been given by the affectees to the CDA officers as bribe to obtain their cheques .<\/p>\n
The court maintained the show cause notice issued to CDA Member Estate director Land, Director Enforcement.. If there is no stay order from any court then action will be taken against CDA officers. CDA allotted those plots too which were not under their possession. If the affectees are doing injustice with the people then are you partner therein. <\/p>\n
Court while expressing displeasure over CDA officials remarked \u201cyou could not take over possession since the last five years. You did not give reply since one year. People have invested million of rupees. Now I call force from somewhere else to get vacate possession. You conduct operation on state land and enforcement team get money from half of the people. <\/p>\n
