\nThe National Assembly Standing Committee on Interior and Narcotics Control at a meeting held here Friday under the Chairmanship of Rana Shamim Ahmad Khan, MNA approved \u201cThe National Counter Terrorism Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2017\u201d. The Bill was moved by Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, MNA and the committee unanimously decided that the Bill may be passed by the National Assembly. The Committee considered \u201cThe Provincial Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 2015\u201d moved by Dr. ikhat Shakeel Khan, MNA and passed it with majority of the Committee. Dr. Arif Alvi and Mr. Kanwar Naveed Jameel objected the billand recorded their Note of Dissent.
\nThe Committee also considered \u201cThe Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2017\u201d moved by Ms. Zahra Wadood Fatemi, MNA and decided to defer the bill till its next meeting. The Committee also considered \u201cThe Islamabad Capital Territory Prohibition of Employment of Children Bill, 2017\u201d moved by Ms. Shazia Marri, MNA and decided that the Bill be deferred till its next Committee meeting.
