MPA Bakht Baidar Khan, Khizar Hayat, deputy director, Attaur Rehman, deputy commissioner, Shah Jamil, assistant commissioner, and local elders attended the briefing.<br \/>\nThe construction of Sanam dam has been a long standing demand of the people of Adenzai. The dam will be built in Sanam area on Asbanr stream.<br \/>\nMr Khalil said that small dams on rivers and streams had great importance in preventing soil erosion, generating energy and flourishing fisheries. About the Sanam dam, he said that 90 per cent funds would be provided by the federal government.
