{"id":181223,"date":"2021-03-21T06:09:14","date_gmt":"2021-03-21T01:09:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=181223"},"modified":"2021-03-21T06:09:14","modified_gmt":"2021-03-21T01:09:14","slug":"ravi-urban-development-authority-chairman-resigns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/ravi-urban-development-authority-chairman-resigns\/","title":{"rendered":"Ravi Urban Development Authority chairman resigns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>INP<br \/>\nLAHORE<br \/>\nChairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ravi Urban Development Authority (RDUA), a flagship project of the incumbent government, Rashid Aziz has resigned from his post, sources said on Saturday.<br \/>\nRUDA CEO\/Chairman Rashid Aziz has tendered his resignation and sent it to the Punjab Chief Secretary.<br \/>\nHe has sent a three-month notice period to the chief secretary.   <\/p>\n<p>The sources claimed that the Punjab government stopped Rashid Aziz\u2019s salary and made his post \u2018honorary\u2019. Rashid Aziz said he was made interim CEO but he was resigning for personal reasons. However, he expressed his good wishes for the RUDA project and said the structure was ready and he hoped work would continue on the project. <\/p>\n<p>Rashid Aziz said that it was good to work on the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. <\/p>\n<p>On Thursday last, Prime Minister Imran Khan had directed the authorities concerned to ensure execution of Ravi City and Central Business District projects according to the stipulated timelines as both were the priority projects of the government. <\/p>\n<p>The prime minister said this in a briefing given to him on Ravi City project in Islamabad wherein he was also apprised of the progress in agri-farming in the Ravi City.
