\nThe questioning of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif\u2019s younger son, Hassan Nawaz, by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the Panama Papers lasted for approximately seven hours on Friday.
\nThe premier\u2019s son reached the Federal Judicial Academy \u2014 the office of the JIT \u2014 at around 10am to record his statement and left at 5pm.
\nHassan Nawaz did not speak to the media after leaving the Federal Judicial Academy.
\nThe JIT is investigating the prime minister\u2019s family\u2019s global financial dealings in light of the Supreme Court\u2019s April 20 judgment.
\nStrict security measures were in place in light of the premier\u2019s son\u2019s arrival at the venue. Hassan did not speak to the media as no one was allowed to come close to his motorcade, including his personal security staff.
\nThe premier\u2019s son brought with him some documents as well which he took with him.
\nSources said Hassan \u2014 a businessman \u2014 recently arrived in Pakistan from London after receiving summons from the JIT.
\nThursday, the premier\u2019s elder son, Hussain Nawaz, appeared for the third time in front of the JIT.
\nAfter spending around six hours with the JIT, Hussain emerged out of the building and briefly spoke to the media.
\n\u201cIf the matters proceed in a fair manner then it\u2019s fine otherwise we would present the issue before the Supreme Court and public,\u201d said Hussain.
\nHussain informed that he has been summoned again by the JIT for the next session. \u201cI was made to wait for two hours,\u201d he said, adding whoever the JIT summons has to appear before it.
\nHe also claimed that no evidence will be found of any irregularity against him, his father or any sibling in the investigation.
\nThe premier\u2019s son said that he was interrogated in isolation, and was not allowed to be accompanied by a lawyer.
\nMoreover, sources informed that Hussain has again been summoned by the JIT on Saturday, June 3.

\nPrime Minister Nawaz Sharif\u2019s daughter, Maryam Nawaz, expressed support for her brothers, Hussain and Hassan, who are being grilled by the Joint Investigative Team (JIT) probing the Panama case verdict.
\n\u201cHussain and Hassan are sons of the man who appeared for strict accountability in all the regimes,\u201d she wrote on Twitter.
\n\u201cSome said that the accountability process should start from me, but you need a heart like Nawaz Sharif\u2019s to appear for accountability,\u201d she tweeted.
\nEven though Hassan and Hussain have never been a part of politics, they have suffered immensely during the [last] dictatorial regime, she added.
\nEarlier on Friday, PM\u2019s younger son Hassan Nawaz appeared before the JIT in the morning to record his statement.
