ISLAMABAD : Supreme Court (SC) has accepted bail plea of last two accused in fake account and corruption reference against former president Asif Ali Zardari. <\/p>\n
A 3-memebr bench of SC presided over by Justice Umar Ata Bandial took up the case for hearing Wednesday. <\/p>\n
The court has maintained in its order the petitioners are director and accountant of the company. No matter of fraud could be brought by NAB against these accused. Only taking loan is not crime. Giving wrong statement or filing wrong documents therein can be crime. <\/p>\n
The counsel for the accused argued during the hearing of the case that 16 suspects including Asif Zardari and Hussain Lawai have already been released on bail in this reference. <\/p>\n
Justice Umar Ata Bandial remarked company obtained loan and NAB is saying in the manner as if company has committed some sin. Property was kept against the loan. The building was to be constructed out of loan amount. <\/p>\n
