‘Shikara’ actress Sadia Khateeb recently joined the cast for Akshay Kumar’s new film, ‘Raksha Bandhan’. The actress took to her social media handle to inform her fans.
\n Recently, she took to her Instagram handle to share a picture of herself and the cast. Sharing the photo, Sadia wrote, \u201cNext, This one for all the brothers and sisters. Also Akshay Kumar tweeted about this and said that \u201d Growing up my sister, Alka was my first friend. \nSpeaking about the film, it is written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon and helmed by Aanand L. Rai who is known for his blockbuster hit rom-com movies like ‘Zero’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ and ‘Raanjhanaa’. Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Smrithi Srikanth will play Akshay’s sisters in the movie. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar.
\nThe actress made her big Bollywood debut with ‘Shikara’ (2020), helmed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
\nMeanwhile, on the work front, Akshay will be seen next in \u2018Atrangi Re\u2019. The film stars Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in lead roles. The release date of the film is yet to be unveiled by the filmmaker. He is also a part of \u2018Bachchan Pandey\u2019 with Kriti Sanon and Arshad Warsi.
