\nThe Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Abbas Ahsan on Wednesday visited Model Institute for State Children\u2019s Zumong Kor, an institution set up for orphans and helpless children in the outskirts of Peshawar.
\nSSP Operation Yasir Afridi, SP Rural Sajjad Hussain also accompanied him.
\nDirector Khalid Sohail Malik handed over CCPO Abbas Ahsan to the Model Institute for State Children Zamong for its establishment, utility and welfare of orphans and vulnerable children.
\nGiving a detailed briefing , Khalid Yasir said currently 460 helpless, orphaned and needy children in the institution set up under the Child Protection Act 2016.
\nCCPO appreciated the services of the Zamong Kor and assured full cooperation from the police department.
\nOn this occasion CCPO Abbas Ahsan also distributed gifts and presents to the orphans and helpless children while also playing various games with them.
\nAbbas Ahsan interacted with the children and cut the cake with them and also talked and got information about their hobbies etc.
