\nThe siege of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) by occupation forces will always be remembered as a dark chapter in human history. This was stated by Deputy Chairman Senate Mirza Muhammad Afridi while talking to a delegation of business community, which led by Pakistan Businesses Forum (PBF) President Mian Usman Zulfiqar called on him at his office, said a statement issued on Thursday.
\nAfridi said that the international community\u2019s silence on Jammu & Kashmir for the last 731 days proves that trade and economic interests are far superior than humanity. \u201cWe emphasise the importance of respect for human rights. An escalation of the situation in Kashmir is avoided and a long-term political solution involving Kashmiris must be found,\u201d he maintained.
\nPBF President Mian Usman Zulfiqar said that the RSS-driven Hindutva ideology of apartheid and division being pursued by the fascistic Modi would not succeed and the issue of Kashmir would only be resolved through a plebiscite.
\nHe said that the business community supports their Kashmiri brethren and will continue to raise its voice for them. He said that the business community stands behind the Kashmiris in the struggle for right to self-determination.
\nHe further said that after the changing situation in Afghanistan, it is imperative to resolve the Kashmir issue to save the region from falling into the flames of anarchy. \u201cThe global community should wake up and smell the coffee,\u201d he added.
\nHe also said the wickedness and brutality of the Modi regime has been fully exposed before the world and trade talks with India should be linked with resumption of special status of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that India could not retain its illegal occupation over occupied J&K.
\nUsman said the entire business community of Pakistan is criticising the Indian government for illegally taking away the rights of the Indian minorities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
