Govt committed for infrastructure development & welfare projects in Balochistan \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif expressing his satisfaction on the progress regarding implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) made by various provincial and federal agencies so far has directed to further expedite the pace of implementation on NAP.
\nThe Premier stated this while chairing a meeting to review the progress on the implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) held at PM House here on Wednesday.
\nNational Security Advisor (NSA) and the Convener of Implementation and Review Committee of NAP, Lt. General (Retd) Nasser Khan Janjua gave a presentation detailing implementation status as to various components of the NAP.
\nThe house resolved that eradication of the menace of terrorism was neither a choice nor an option, but an imperative for our existence and survival.
\nDuring the meeting, various laws governing the anti-terrorism efforts were also reviewed and ways and means to make these laws more effective were discussed. The report presented to the Prime Minister by the FATA Reforms Committee was also discussed and it was decided that the report shall be made public to elicit further debate and discussion towards developing a national consensus on the committee\u2019s recommendations.
\nThe meeting was also attended by Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Shareef, Advisor to PM Mr. Sartaj Aziz, DG ISI Lt. Gen. Rizwan Akhtar and other senior government officials.
\nMean while Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the federal government is committed to carry out massive infrastructure development and welfare projects in Balochistan for improving the living standard of people of the province.
\nThe Prime Minister expressed these views while talking to Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan Sardar Sanaullah Zehri called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House on Wednesday
\nHe assured Balochistan province would reap maximum benefits of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
\nPM Nawaz Sharif said that Balochistan is very close to his heart. \u201cPeace in Balochistan has been restored as a result of countless sacrifices of military and civilian security personnel, and peace loving people of the Province; we will never allow the enemies of peace and development to disrupt the process of progress and development in the Province,\u201d he added.
\nCM Sardar Sanaullah Zehri and apprised the Prime Minister on the overall security situation in the province, particularly steps taken by the provincial government for maintaining peace and security of the civilians after the Quetta attack. He also briefed the PM on the pace of ongoing development projects and welfare schemes in different parts of Balochistan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
