The AGP is a constitutional post and the appointment is made for a term of 4 years. Muhammad Ajmal Gondal was the Senior most serving officer of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service. Earlier he has served on important posts as Member Finance Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, Controller General of Accounts Pakistan , the 55th Accountant General of KP, the Director General Federal Audit Islamabad. He served in various Ministries\/Divisions including Foreign Office, Establishment Division and Ministry of KA&#038;GB. He belongs to 14ctp. Oath taking ceremony is expected in this week.
