KP government Spokesman Kamran Bangash on Wednesday said that the life of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is source of our national unity and by adopting His teaching we can restore the past glory of Muslim Ummah.
\nAddressing \u201cYouth Ulema Summit\u201d held here at Jamia Ashrafia in connection with \u201cAshra-e-Rahmatul Lilalameen\u201d, he said that the mission of Prime Minister Imran Khan is to unite the nation on one platform and project glorious image of Pakistan at international level.
\nHe said Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and Islam attach high priority to human rights which was adopted by the West but overlooked by Muslims.
\n \u201cWe as nation have to dispel the impression that Islam is being followed by non Muslims in West and in East there are only Muslims and not Islam.\u201d
\nHe appreciated Auqaf Department and Jamia Ashrafia on successful arrangement of Youth Ulema Conference wherein renowned Ulemas from across the province participated.
\nKamran Bangash said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mehmood Khan is taking pragmatic measures to promote inter faith harmony and curb sectarianism in the society.
\nHighlighting the government\u2019s measures for revival of mosques and Madrassas, Kamran Bangash said that Provincial Government increased the budget of Auqaf department from Rs 250 million to Rs 5 billion whereas allocated Rs 1 billion for renovation and rehabilitation of mosques and Madrassas. Similarly, he said, thousands of mosques were converted to solar power so that devotees could offer five times\u2019 prayers without inconvenience in case of power outage. He further said that stipend was awarded to Khateebs and Rs 750 million scholarships were offered to seminary students. More such welfare steps were also being taken to bring the Madaras students and teachers into mainstream of our nation life and enable them respectable life in society, he concluded.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
