Islamabad: Former Secretary Election Commission Kanwar Dilshad has said that electronic voting machine system is running in small countries, not in big countries. In a statement, Kanwar Dilshad said that half of the US states have electronic voting machines and half of the states have manual voting machines. He said that Election Commission has presented its position in the parliamentary committee, the 2023 elections do not appear to be held on electronic voting machines. Kanwar Dilshad has said that EVM could be selected as pilot project in 5 cites.
