\nPakistan\u2019s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi said on Friday that he is looking forward to captaining Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) if given the opportunity.
\nHe lauded the management of Lahore Qalandars during a virtual press conference, hailing it as \u201cexceptionally good.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s thrilling to perform for the Lahore Qalandars, I\u2019ve been playing with them for a number of years,\u201d he said.
\nMeanwhile, explaining the bowling challenges in Bangladesh he said that it is difficult to bowl on a slow pitch.
\nThe lanky left-arm pacer noted, \u201cBowling is good if the bowler is aggressive and strong.\u201d
\nWhile speaking about attacking batters with bowling partner Hasan Ali, who is also in spectacular form these days, Afridi remarked that Hasan Ali is a fighter, and it feels great to bowl alongside him.
\nHe said that he would work hard in the second Test against Bangladesh and win the series.
\n\u201cWhen the captain gives the ball, I strive to perform well and win for the team; I try to give my 100% by bowling strongly,\u201d Afridi stated.
\nHe added that if a player fails in a match, he should not be deemed a failure, noting that Test cricket is tough.
