Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan has remarked violations of rules were committed at large scale in the appointments made in the subordinate courts of Sindh High Court (SHC) and hue and cry was raised in the entire Sindh over these appointments. <\/p>\n
Petition filed against the appointments made in subordinate courts of \tSHC came up for hearing before 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Umar Ata Bandial here Friday.<\/p>\n
Justice Umar Ata Bandial remarked during the hearing of the case that neither tests were held nor interviews were taken for appointments. The appointments were made without advertisement too. No reason was given for relaxing the rules regarding age limit and domicile.
\nJustice Ijaz ul Ahsan remarked rules were violated at large scale in the appointments made in the subordinate courts of SHC. Hue and cry was raised over these appointments all over Sindh. SHC took what action in its jurisdiction. <\/p>\n
Registrar SHC told the court this procedure was followed in the appointments in subordinate courts of SHC since 2000. <\/p>\n
Munir A Malik counsel for SHC took the plea we have to see this if the high court has deviated from past procedure or otherwise. <\/p>\n
The SC while constituting committee to review appointments made in the subordinate courts of SHC directed registrar SHC to compile the record of appointments made in district courts all over Sindh and present the said record before it. <\/p>\n
