The IMF board can move whenever our actions are completed.\u201d<br \/>\nThe ministry issued the statement in response to a news item published in a section of the press, wherein it was claimed that the government is in no hurry to pass the mini- budget before the IMF meeting, terming the report as misleading.<br \/>\nThe ministry said the government has introduced both the bills (Supplementary Finance Bill 2021 and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Bill 2021) in the National Assembly.<br \/>\n\u201cThe IMF has moved the 6th tranche recommendation to its board for consideration on January 12, 2022,\u201d the statement added. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD The Ministry of Finance has said that the country needs to accomplish prior actions for the approval of the new tranche of $1 billion from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) board.
