{"id":237122,"date":"2022-01-06T09:22:23","date_gmt":"2022-01-06T04:22:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=237122"},"modified":"2022-01-06T09:22:23","modified_gmt":"2022-01-06T04:22:23","slug":"kmu-amu-somalia-and-ajkmc-signs-mou-for-mutual-cooperation-in-medical-and-allied-health-sciences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/kmu-amu-somalia-and-ajkmc-signs-mou-for-mutual-cooperation-in-medical-and-allied-health-sciences\/","title":{"rendered":"KMU, AMU Somalia and AJ&#038;KMC Signs MOU for mutual cooperation in Medical and Allied Health Sciences"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> Peshawar<br \/>\nKhyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar, Adal Medical University Somalia and Azad Jammu and Kashmir Medical College Muzaffarabad signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the promotion of bilateral educational and research activities in the fields of Medical, Dental, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences and exchange of students.<br \/>\nThe signing ceremony was held at the Vice Chancellor\u2019s office and was attended by Vice Chancellor KMU Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq, Adal Medical University Representative Dr. Anmol Asghar and Professor Dr. Mulazam Hussain Principal of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Medical College (AJKMC)Muzaffarabad signed while Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Gandapur Registrar KMU, Prof. Dr. Abid Hussain AJKMC Muzaffarabad, Dr. Haider Darin Dean Allied Health Sciences KMU, Dr. Saima Afaq Director IPH&#038;SS, Dr. Brekhna Jamil Director IHPE&#038;R, and Dr. Muhammad Jaseem Director IPMS also present at the occasion.<br \/>\nIt is worth mentioning that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is aimed at promoting bilateral relations between the three medical education institutions at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, nursing, allied sciences, public health, and health profession education for benefit from each other\u2019s experiences in the fields.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Vice Chancellor KMU Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq, while addressing the signing ceremony, said that it was an honor for KMU that we will start joint educational and research programs with AJKMC Muzaffarabad and Adal University Somalia.
