PPP chairman also says party will protest in front of the Parliament House on the day of voting on the \u201cmini-budget\u201d

\nPPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday announced that he will lead a \u201clong march\u201d against the PTI government from Karachi to Islamabad on February 27.
\nAddressing a news conference in Lahore, Bilawal demanded an immediate and transparent election in the country as he termed democracy as the only solution to the problems of the country.
\nHe said that the nation wants to get rid of the \u201cselected\u201d government and a transparent election is the only solution.
\n\u2018Country\u2019s economic autonomy at stake\u2019
\nCriticising the government\u2019s economic policies, the PPP chairman said that the government has \u201csurrendered\u201d before international organisations and now the country\u2019s economic autonomy is \u201cat stake\u201d.
\nSpeaking about the State Bank of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill, which was presented in the National Assembly last month to meet the conditions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Bilawal said that SBP\u2019s autonomy is also \u201cat stake\u201d.
\n\u201cThe State Bank will neither be answerable to Parliament nor any courts,\u201d he said.
\nHe said the party is working on a legal course of action to take against the SBP bill.
\nPPP to protest in front of Parliament against \u201cmini-budget\u201d
\nMeanwhile, regarding the supplementary finance bill, which is referred to as the \u201cmini-budget\u201d by the Opposition, Bilawal lashed out at the government saying that their \u201cintentions are clear to get it approved by force\u201d in Parliament.
\nTerming the so-called \u201cmini-budget\u201d as an \u201canti-state bill\u201d, the PPP chairman said that we will protest in front of the Parliament house on the day voting for it is held.
\nIt is pertinent to mention here that Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said a National Assembly session has been summoned on January 10 for the approval of the supplementary finance bill.
\nSharing details of his line of action in context with the protest and long march against the PTI government, Bilawal said that PPP would initiate its long march on February 27 from Mazar-e-Quaid.
\nHe said: \u201cNo matter what comes our way, we will reach Islamabad at any cost and will present our demands.\u201d
\n\u201cPPP\u2019s stance is very clear on Imran Khan\u2019s selection,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cWe want all institutions to remain neutral.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bilawal further added that his party is starting its next phase of protests from today, hoping that no hurdle and interference will be made in their struggle.<\/p>\n
\u2018PPP no longer a part of PDM\u2019
\nAnswering questions related to PPP\u2019s former alliance with the Opposition\u2019s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Bilawal said that PPP is not a part of PDM any more.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow it is up to them whether they resign from parliament or not,\u201d he said, adding: \u201cPDM has not consulted with us on its long march against PTI.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, during the press conference, he also welcomed the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement regarding their neutral stance in political matters, saying that it\u2019s a wise comment and the institution\u2019s role must remain neutral. <\/p>\n
Courts should give justice to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto
\nSpeaking about his grandfather Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, he said that the court should \u201cwash away the stain on it of Bhutto\u2019s judicial murder\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe situation that the country is in at the moment began after the assassination of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto,\u201d Bilawal reiterated, adding that the courts should give provide Bhutto and the party justice.<\/p>\n
\u2018Merger of tribal districts not complete\u2019
\nBilawal said that it was his mother, former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, who first spoke of the merger of tribal districts with the rest of Pakistan.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe merger is not yet complete. We demand a complete and proper merger,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
