\nMinister for Energy Hammad Azhar said Sunday that sufficient fuel stock was available at all PSO outlets in Murree and its localities.
\nIn a tweet, Hammad Azhar said petrol and diesel are available at all PSO pumps in Murree in a good quantity.
\nHammad Azhar said the authorities concerned are in contact with the local administration to ensure fuel supply for the \u2018Rescue Machinery\u2019 to continue the rescue and relief operation unabated.
\nIn another tweet, the minister said Islamabad Electric Supply Company has sent its extra workforce from surrounding localities to Murree to prevent power disruption in the area.
\nHe said all power feeders, which faced disruption due to heavy snowfall in Murree, have been restored. He said a few local faults are being removed.
\nOn the other hand, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrrukh Habib said Sunday the rescue and relief operation was underway to evacuate stranded tourists in Murree.
\nTalking to private news channel, Farukh said Expressway (N-75) from Murree to Islamabad has been cleared for traffic.
\nHe said rescue teams are busy to provide food, warm clothes, blankets and other necessities to the stranded tourists.
\nPakistan Army troops have checked all stranded vehicles in Murree and shifted the affected people to relief camps.
\nAccording to ISPR, the Military Engineers troops and dozers are working to clear snow on Jheeka Gali-Kuldanna and Kuldanna-Barian roads.
\nTen stranded dead bodies were also recovered from the vehicles.
\nAbout 3000 tourists were rescued in assistance with locals and Rescue 1122 and they were provided with food, water and first aid.
\nInterior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed again urged people to avoid visits to hilly areas in these days as all roads leading to Murree would remain closed till 9 pm today.
\nTalking to a private news channel, Rashid said local residents can go to their houses by showing their Identity cards.
