\nThe Pak officials agreed to review \u201ccash in counter\u201d new policy formulated by the State Bank for the Afghan businessmen till recovering of the Afghanistan economy.
\nAccording to the scheme, the Afghan traders have to produce cash foreign currency for availing Form E at the border.
\nIn a high level held at the custom center,Torkham on Wednesday Pak-Afghan officials discussed issues that suffers mutual trade.
\nThe Afghan delegation led by advisor to Afghan custom Maulvi Naqeebullah joined the moot while Additional Collector Muhammad Tayyab represented the Pakistan side in addition with advisor to Prime Minister, FBR and Custom highups officials of NLC, FIA, Khyber Chamber of Commerce and Industry joined the meeting through video link.
\nAdditional Collector Muhammad Tayyab informed that the participants were approved that presently the Afghan economy is in crises therefore till improving of it, the Pak will revise the \u201ccash in counter\u201d policy and will further relax the trading rules.
\nOn demand of Afghan officials, the Pak custom permitted to export extra-12 items in addition with four perishable items in Pakistani currency that will have a positive impact on Pak-Afghan business, the official said.
\nThe Afghan officials assured that checking measures will be further boosted up to halt smuggling of narcotics from Afghanistan to Pakistan.
\nPak-Afghan custom officials agreed to settle all the issues, relating to export and import at the western border with mutual interest.
