ISLAMABAD
\nSenior Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Rai Mazhar Iqbal on Thursday reviewed the performance of traffic policemen during the last one month and awarded those showing excellent performance.
\nFollowing the directions of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younis, SSP (Traffic) Rai Mazhar Iqbal reviewed the performance of traffic policemen during the last one Month.
\nHe awarded cash prizes and commendation certificates to those showing good performance and also issued Show Cause Notices those involved in sluggish policing.
\nThose policemen awarded for showing good performance include Inspector M Hayat , SI M. Shareef, SI Khan Muhammad, SI Raheem Khan , SI M.Afzal, ASI Sher Ali, ASI Tufail Yousaf, ASI Mushtaq ahmed, ASI Shafqat Abbas, ASI Amjid Khan, ASI M. Nawaz, ASI M Iqbal, ASI M Ejaz, HC Roye Dad Khan, HC Irshad Khan, HC Muhammad Irfan, HC Nadeem Akhter, Constable M Shafaat, Constable Mir Afsar , Constable Zafar Iqbal, Constable M Zahid, Constable M Azam, Constable M Ramzan, Constable Islam Ullah.
\nSSP (Traffic) said that accountability process would remain continue in the department and those showing good performance to be encouraged while poor performers to face disciplinary action.
\nHe said that special measures are being taken to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city and make Islamabad accident-free city. Implementation on traffic rules is crucial to bring down accident rate, he said and committed to ensure safe road environment in the city.
\nRai Mazhar Iqbal directed the officials for good command and control system of their subordinates and do maximum efforts for traffic discipline in the city. He urged all policemen o discharge their duties with honesty, hardworking and firmness.
