\nThe Red Crescent Pakistan held a two-day training workshop on first aid for the employees of Food Safety Authority employees and volunteers.
\nThe workshop provided training to empower Food Safety Authority employees and volunteers with essential interaction treatment skills in case of emergency and accident and basic first aid training on rescue.
\nDirector General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety Authority Shah Rukh Ali Khan in his address to the participants of the training said that first aid training is very important in case of emergency situation.
\nShah Rukh Ali Khan said that first aid training would also be given to personnel working in field teams and mobile food testing laboratories.
\nThe participants in the training appreciated the first aid training conducted by the authority and said that they had the opportunity to learn a lot from the training.
\nAt the end of the training, DG Food Safety Authority Shah Rukh Ali Khan and Deputy Director Zeeshan Amin distributed certificates among the participants.
\nTrainer Sabiha Ashraf said that getting first aid training is very important for all of us, which can save lives in case of any accident.
\nPakistan Red Crescent Society is continuously working on first aid training across the country.
