PESHAWAR
\nAwami National Party (ANP) submitted an adjournment motion in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly against the rising incidence of terrorism and target killings in the province.
\nSardar Hussain Babak said that normal proceedings of the assembly should be stopped and a comprehensive discussion should be allowed over the issues of terrorism and target killings in KP.
\nHe claimed that the incidents of terrorism on a daily basis across the province have raised more questions as to when the terrorists will be eliminated, adding that terrorism has devastated the economic and business environment of the province.
\nThe adjournment motion further said that investors and capitalists of the province have been forced to relocate their capital to other parts of the country or abroad due to targeted killings and extortion.
\nParliamentary leader of the ANP said that the provincial government should take pragmatic steps for eradication of terrorism from the province.
\nLawmakers of the KP Assembly should be given opportunity to discuss the emerging issue of terrorism in the province, he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
