Members of National Assembly Junaid Akbar, Dr Haider Ali, Saleh Mohammad and Secretary Punjab Assembly Mohammad Khan Bhatti were also present in the meeting.<br \/>\nThe two leaders discussed parliamentary issues, the political situation and issues of mutual interest. Ch Parvez Elahi discussed the Punjab Local Government Bill and took Asad Qasier into confidence on the Local Government Bill under consideration in the standing committee in the Punjab Assembly.<br \/>\nCh Parvez Elahi said that strong local bodies can play an important role in solving the problems of the people.
