\nChairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has called for holding cabinet members accountable before general masses.
\nChairing a meeting here at the party\u2019s central secretariat on Saturday stated that members of the federal cabinet, who had been honored with performance certificates, should take their assent from the people.
\nHe added people have the best litmus paper of judging.
\nFaiq noticed the performance of Foreign Office is highly satisfactory despite that certificate wasn\u2019t awarded to it. This is also a game of nepotism, he added.
\nThe ATP chairman went on to say that the quest of government and opposition is fighting for gaining power.
\nHe made it clear that performance cannot be measured until delivering economic and social justice to people.
\nHe criticising the ruling parties and opposition had failed to nurture democracy within their ranks.
\nFaiq asked: \u201cHow can they bring democracy to the whole country\u201d?
\nHe noted that the condition of road infrastructure and planning is extremely bad.
\nHe questioned: \u201cOn what grounds are these ministries being awarded performance certificates?
\nMr Shah emphasized that all ministries should directly present their performance before the general masses and must ask all their questions, which is a national obligation.
\nHe continued to say they [ministers] are being paid salaries and incentives through public tax money so they should be held answerable before the people.
\nThe party leader viewed it as a good omen to award appreciation certificates on performance but public questions are also the most important, which needed to be replied appropriately.
\nHe asked the ministers to come on national media and answer all questions of the general masses in order to appraise them what kind and how many public delivery records they had established so far?
