In a tweet on Tuesday, Dawood said, \u201cWe are glad to share that after the first Islamabad-Tehran-Turkey (ITI) train in December 2021, the third ITI train from Pakistan has entered Turkey and is about to reach its destination, despite encountering some heavy weather and snowfall on the way.\u201d<br \/>\nThe adviser said that more freight trains will be operating on this route in the coming days. \u201cRegular operations will significantly reduce freight costs and our exporters should take full advantage of this utility,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nEarlier in December last, a freight train service was inaugurated with an aim to boost trade between Pakistan, Iran and Turkey. The freight train service will play a vital role in improving the economies and lives of citizens of ECO member states by maximising economic efficiency and reducing the cost of doing business.<br \/>\nAs per present arrangement to start the train and the schedule agreed jointly by Turkey, Iran and Pakistan, the running time between Drence-Kapikoy (Istanbul) and Zahidan-Tabraiz (Iran) will be 90 hours each.
