KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has decided to submit resolution against party chief in National Assembly Secretariat, reported on Wednesday.
\nIqbal Muhammad Ali has confirmed that MQM will table a resolution against Altaf Hussain in coming one to two days.
\nSources told that the party has disowned its chief Altaf Hussain and strongly denounced his anti-Pakistan speeches in the resolution.
\nOn the other hand, Dr Farooq Sattar has also summoned key meeting of Rabita Committee today to discuss amendment in MQM\u2019s mandate.
\nThe participants would also take the issues of changing MQM\u2019s letter head and PS-127 by-election under discussion.
\nEarlier, Punjab Assembly also approved a resolution seeking a treason case against Altaf. It was demanded through the resolution that the statements he made against the country be declared as a national crime.
\nThe resolution condemned the anti-Pakistan statements made by the MQM chief which made his party\u2019s workers to storm in the office of a private news channel and cause damage to the infrastructure.
\nResolutions against MQM chief were also moved in the assemblies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Sindh which condemned his remarks and demanded action against him.

\nFurther, action against MQM founder was also demanded in the session of standing committee according to Article-6 of the constitution in the resolution presented by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr Arif Alvi.

\nMQM leaders Shahid Pasha, Qamar Mansoor and MNA Kanwar Naveed as well as three women were among the 44 suspects presented in the court.
\nThe court ordered investigative officer to present a challan within 14 days.
\nMQM leader Qamar Mansoor appealed that he was not taken to hospital despite court orders.
\nHe said he was ill and was being made to sit on the ground and requested that the court instructs prison authorities to take note of the matter.
\nThe court, in response, asked Qamar Mansoor for a written request after which it would issue the order.<\/p>\n
\nAccording to them, the Interior Minister said that Pakistan has sent evidence against MQM founder and British government should take action against him.
\nSources further said that British High Commissioner said that the British police were investigating the case and the issue would be resolved in accordance with legal requirements.
\nThomas Drew also met with opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah.
\nShah said that the UK should play its role in resolving the Kashmir issue permanently in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
\n\u201cInternational community should take notice to brutalities in Indian Held Kashmir, he said this during the meeting in his chamber at the Parliament House.
\nOther matters of mutual interest came under discussion during the meeting.Khursheed Shah said that Pakistan gives great importance to its historic and friendly relations with the UK.

\nHe expressed the hope that the UK would continue playing its vital role in the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Theresa May.<\/p>\n

\nIn regard to inciting people to violence in Pakistan] to take a legal action against him,\u201d Drew told Leader of Opposition Syed Khursheed Shah in a meeting at the Parliament House.
\nAcknowledging the dossier dispatched by Islamabad, the High Commissioner said, \u201cIt does not carry enough material that can help in taking any legal action against Altaf.\u201d
\nShah urged Drew to convince British authorities to act against Hussain, and said the MQM chief was \u201ccausing problems for Pakistan while sitting in London\u201d.
\n\u201cWe demand an immediate and stern action against him (Hussain),\u201d Shah said.
\n\u201cThe MQM chief\u2019s derogatory remarks against Pakistan and anti-Pakistan slogans are totally unacceptable to each and every person here,” added the leader of the opposition.
\nThe Ministry of Interior on Tuesday had dispatched a reference against MQM’s “dissociated” chief to United Kingdom government, accusing the former of inciting people to violence in Pakistan.
\nThe reference talked about Hussain’s \u201cvicious speech\u201d and contains evidences related to inciting people to create chaos, read a statement issued by the ministry.
\n\u201cAction should be taken against him (Hussain) according to British laws,\u201d said the reference, adding that the said person not only violated British but also international laws.
\nThe UK government was further asked to initiate legal action against those responsible for inciting people to violence in Pakistan.
\nAltaf Hussain\u2019s diatribe last week took many by surprise who were convinced that state institutions will use the speech as a justification for a strong action against MQM activists.
\nParts of the speech that went viral on social media minutes after the violence broke out in the city\u2019s south districts showed that while addressing the MQM workers protesting outside the Karachi Press Club against \u201cenforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings of workers\u201d,
\nHussain not only raised slogans against Pakistan but also called the country \u201ca cancer for entire world\u201d.
