\nThe Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People\u2019s Party (PPP) on Sunday rejected amendments to the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (Peca).
\nPML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz tweeted that whatever laws the government was enacting, would be used against the government itself.
\n\u201cThese laws are apparently being made to suppress the voice of media and opposition, but they will be used against Imran Khan and company,\u201d she said. \u201cThere should be no blame upon us for not informing you,\u201d she added.
\nAlso, Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani termed amendments to Peca a dangerous attempt, adding that it amounted to quashing the voice of the media.
