ISLAMABAD
\nPakistan on Friday expressed concern over press releases issued by European Union (EU). Spokesperson of the Pakistan Foreign Office said in a statement such harsh stance against Pakistan is not appropriate.
\nSpokesperson said embassies of European countries should have avoided such [inappropriate] reaction. Such attitude is unacceptable, the spokesperson said.
\nPakistan has passed on its concerns to the embassies of European countries, the statement added.
\nOn the other hand, foreign office\u2019s spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmed said Friday in his weekly press briefing Pakistan wants balanced, objective and broad-based relations with all countries including the United States and the European Union.
\nAnswering a question at his weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Friday, he said Pakistan pursues a clear-minded and well thought out foreign policy.
\nResponding to another question, Spokesperson said Pakistan also wants cordial relations with its neighbours, including India.
\nHe said it is India\u2019s hostile behaviour that has brought us to a situation where dialogue process is under suspension.
\nHe said India is also involved in gross human rights violations in IIOJK. He said such acts are serious violations, which are impeding normalization of ties with India.
\nAsim Iftikhar said India is also involved in subversive activities and fanning terrorism inside Pakistan.
\nHe said arrest of Indian Spy Kulbhushan Jadhav has exposed the real face of India\u2019s terrorist activities in Pakistan and the region.
\nHe said Pakistan is committed to confront this policy of India, which is employing terrorism as an instrument of state policy and we are determined to fight it till the very end.
\nReplying to a question, Spokesperson said Pakistan Mission in Ukraine is working round the clock to provide all possible assistance and cooperation to evacuate Pakistani citizens to safer places.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
