He said that women rights acknowledged by Europe in 20th century, were introduced by Islam fourteen hundred years ago.<br \/>\nLauding the Ministry for Human Rights for devising new laws and amendments for protection of women, the President said enforcement of Women\u2019s Property Rights (Amendment) Bill will enable women to get their property rights with the help of ombudsperson. He urged the society to play its due role to protect women from harassment at public places.<br \/>\nHighlighting the significance of information technology in women empowerment, Dr Arif Alvi said IT has changed the business market and it has increased opportunities. He said women can benefit from IT to develop their businesses online.<br \/>\nSpeaking on the occasion, Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari said women are serving in all fields in Pakistan which include music, art, army, education and health sector.<br \/>\nThe minister said there should be no discrimination in women education. She regretted that in India, girls are not allowed to wear hijab but no one raises their voice.
