Prime Minister Imran Khan has declared that the Opposition’s no-confidence move against him is bound to fail.<\/p>\n
Talking after chairing a meeting of senior PTI leaders on Thursday, Imran Khan said \u201cI know what they are going to do.: He said \u201cMy plan is ready. Now I will tell them how the politics is conducted.\u201d The prime minister said that the Opposition parties\u2019 no-trust motion against him will fail.<\/p>\n
Imran Khan said that the opposition parties could not intimidate him through their tactics and that he had drawn up a complete plan to deal with the no-trust motion. Quoting its sources, the TV channel reported that the prime minister made these remarks during his meeting with the senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).<\/p>\n
Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib, Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood and Federal Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar were among those who attended the meeting.<\/p>\n
Sources told that members of PTI\u2019s legal team were also in attendance. The premier further said that he had faced these people before and would do so in future as well. \u201cThey have no idea what I will do to them,\u201d he said, and expressed the optimism that he would soon overcome political crisis in Punjab. \u201cAll is well. Don\u2019t worry,\u201d he said to his party fellows. <\/p>\n
The meeting discussed the ways to counter the no-confidence motion going to be tabled against the government in the National Assembly in a few days from now. Talks with the leaders of coalition parties held recently also came under discussion at the meeting, and satisfaction was expressed over the assurances given by these leaders. <\/p>\n
Seconding PM Imran, the PTI leaders expressed the resolve to foil the no-trust motion. FM Qureshi said that the opposition\u2019s anti-government campaign was about to run out of steam. He went on to say not only members of the ruling PTI but also those of the opposition would vote against the motion.<\/p>\n
