\nAs the PTI government is gearing up for the no-confidence motion, which the Opposition has submitted to the National Assembly in a bid to oust the incumbent government and send Prime Minister Imran Khan packing, PTI Central Punjab leader Imtiaz Safdar Warraich has rejoined the PPP, sources said Sunday.
\nThe sources further said that Warraich will make a formal announcement alongside PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari soon.
\nThere are four other members of PTI from Punjab who may join hands with PPP, according to the sources.
\nOpposition submits no-trust motion against PM Imran Khan
\nThe Opposition had submitted the no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan in the NA Secretariat last Tuesday.<\/p>\n
A total of 86 lawmakers from the Opposition parties signed the no-confidence motion, sources said.<\/p>\n
JUI-F\u2019s Shahida Akhtar Ali, PML-N\u2019s Khawaja Saad Rafique, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Sanaullah, Khawaja Saad Rafique and PPP\u2019s Naveed Qamar and Shazia Marri submitted the no-trust motion and requisition for a session to the NA Secretariat.<\/p>\n
Currently, the government has a 17-member lead over the Opposition but the latter has claimed that it has enough support to prove that PM Imran Khan no more commands the people\u2019s trust.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
