\nBuzdar CM assails power-hungry opposition for making \u2018hue and cry\u2019
\n LAHORE
\nWith reference to the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister Imran Khan, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and members of assembly continue to hold meetings on Sunday.
\nAccording to the details, the participants of the meeting with Punjab Chief Minister included members of Tareen, Aleem, other like-minded groups, PPP and PML-N s forward bloc. Provincial ministers, advisers and special assistants also attended the meeting.
\nMeanwhile, women and minority parliamentarians also met Usman Bazdar and expressed confidence in the leadership of the Punjab CM.
\nOn this occasion, Usman Buzdar said that members of the assembly are my brothers, friends and allies. We have talked less and worked more and always took everyone with alongside.
\nHe went on to mention that a historic district development package of Rs. 360 billion has been given in consultation with the public representatives.
\nOpponents have been subjected to political revenge in the past, the culture of political vengeance has been buried in our times, do not conspire, do not think badly of anyone, the no-confidence motion has become a nightmare for the opposition. The double faces of have been exposed in front of the nation.
\nCM Buzdar after taking notice of the concerns and suggestions directed the relevant authorities to ensure the resolution of the problems. The members of the assembly thanked the Punjab CM on directives of speedy resolution of the issues.
\nMeanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar assailed the opposition for making \u2018hue and cry to come to power\u2019 over the past three-and-a-half years.
\nThe chief minister stated these remarks during a meeting with members of provincial assembly (MPAs) from different districts in Lahore on Sunday.
\nThe chief minister said that those impeding the process of progress and development would get nothing, adding that the opposition could not hoodwink people through propaganda.
\n\u201cThe government is fully aware of the people\u2019s problems,\u201d he said and maintained that effective steps were being taken to overcome inflation in the country.
\nThe chief minister also claimed that the prices of daily-use items witnessed a significant decrease due to the government\u2019s stringent measures.
\n\u201cWe are here for the public service, whereas, the opposition is making hue and cry for coming to power, not for public,\u201d he stated.
\nThe MPAs who called on the chief minister included: Abdul Rehman Khan, Chaudhry Adil Pervaiz Gujjar, Gulraiz Afzal Gondal, Umar Farooq, and Rana Shahbaz.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
