Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communications Dr Shahbaz Gill on Tuesday while referring to the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) said the incompetent league was registered in the United States and United Kingdom as a limited liability company which has ingested funds of the Overseas Pakistanis\u2019 living abroad.
\nResponding to the statement of PML-N leader Maryam Aurangzeb, he said the high court certified liars and culprits were busy in spreading baseless deceptions.
\n\u201cPrime Minister Imran Khan is a role model of transparency and honesty. Those having fake accounts, foreign funding and money laundering are exposed in front of the whole nation but are still trying to make false accusations against others,\u201d he said.
\n\u201cPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has presented all evidence in the foreign funding case while the incompetent league did not present even a record,\u201d Gill said.
\nEarlier, PML-N leader Maryum Aurangzeb had urged Prime Minister Imran Khan to bring his \u2018performance record\u2019 with him on the way to D-Chowk rally.
\n\u201cNot even a single document was submitted before Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) [in foreign funding case] during past seven year\u201d Maryum said, while adding that those who claim to be \u2018honest and pious\u2019 will soon fly country.
\nAddressing a press conference in Islamabad, Maryum Aurangzeb criticized ruling PTI for \u2018being unable to prove themselves innocent before the ECP in foreign funding case\u2019. \u201c75 hearings have taken place in ECP, but PTI is unable to prove its stance\u201d she said.
