\nThe Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to rename the Gaddafi cricket stadium, it emerged. PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja, during an interview revealed that cricket controlling board was going to rename most of country\u2019s stadiums, while attempts in this regard were already initiated for the Gaddafi stadium.
\nRamiz told foreign cricket website that international organizations were being involved by the PCB to carry out bidding in this regard, while those organizations will be evaluating sponsorship of out stadiums.
\nThe PCB Chairman revealed chances of renaming National Stadium Karachi and other cricket grounds after \u2018provision of suitable sponsors\u2019. It is pertinent to mention here that while there have been several moves in the past to change the name of the stadium, those were for political reasons. In February 2013, not long after Gaddafi\u2019s death, the Punjab Olympic Association asked the provincial chief minister to rename the stadium in keeping with increasing public opinion against the former Libyan leader.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
