As per information received by Aafia Movement media information cell from Manchester, the activists of global Aafia Movement staged a demo outside the Pakistani consulate and demanded of the Pakistani government to take immediate steps for the release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui The protesters welcomed the police and administration of Manchester for their cooperation. The women participants of the demo displayed banners along the railing of the consulate building, besides 19 golden coloured baloons as a symbol of completion of 19 years in jail of Aafia Siddiqui.
